Job Description:

We are seeking a Strategic Buyers with experience in both Direct (Mechanics Commodity) and Indirect (Facility Commodity) procurement. The successful candidate will manage their own set of suppliers and manufacturers worldwide, conduct market research, and negotiate long-term strategic agreements.

Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

• Manage your own set of suppliers and manufacturers worldwide.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and regularly evaluate their performance.
• Ensure suppliers fulfil their commercial and contractual commitments.

Procurement Activities:

• Initiate, develop, drive and execute Material Group Management, Supplier Management, and Risk Management.
• Conduct market research and identify new suppliers.
• Manage tendering and contracting processes.
• Negotiate long-term strategic agreements.
• Prepare make-or-buy decisions and react quickly to market changes.

Reporting and Compliance:

• Analyze and correct KPIs to derive measures for supplier improvement.
• Ensure supplier compliance according to company regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Business administration field.
• At least five years of professional experience in the field of purchasing as a Strategic Buyer or Sourcing Buyer.
• Exceptional negotiating skills and ability to influence others.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3-5 years of experience with Mechanics Commodity.
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications and experience with SAP.
• Fluent English is a must.
